Fall 2023 Applications

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Scott County Regional Authority has opened an online grant application for the fall 2023 grant cycle on the website at http://www.ScottCountyRegionalAuthority.com. Fall applications are for programs or projects to be completed between December 1, 2023 and November 30, 2024. 

The deadline for online submission is September 29 with awards announced at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. 

Any non-profit organization exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Code, government organization, or education institution can apply by completing the online grant application.  Applicants must have a local office, a local corporate board of directors, be incorporated in the state of its principal place of business or chartered by the U. S. Government, and serve residents of Scott County, Iowa.

Qualifying organizations may access the grant application on the website at http://www.ScottCountyRegionalAuthority.com.  Applications must be submitted by 11:45 p.m. on Friday, September 29.  Any questions regarding this process please email [email protected] or call (563) 344-2626.

Scott County Regional Authority Awards Over $1.6 Million

bringing total funding since 1991 to over $95 Million

The Scott County Regional Authority (SCRA) announced today awards of over $1.6 million for the fall 2022 grant cycle.

Several representatives spoke of the value and impact these awards will have for their organizations:

Kim Kidwell, Director of Culture & Recreation, Family Museum – $35,000, “On the Road” Gallery Renovation

Melissa Trimble, Curriculum Specialist, Davenport Community School District – $42,958, Equipment for Secondary (7-12) Science Classrooms

John Cooper, Pastoral Associate & Business Manager, St. Anthony Catholic Church – $42,700, Expanding Reach of McAnthony Window

Decker Ploehn, City Administrator, City of Bettendorf with Brad Martell, CEO, YMCA of the Iowa Mississippi Valley – $166,667 ($4,000,000 commitment to the City of Bettendorf over twelve years), The Landing

The Authority received a total of 81 requests for funding totaling $6,816,045.

A total of $1,617,863 was awarded to 52 projects benefiting residents of Scott County. 

This brings SCRA funding since 1991 to $95,650,481 for the benefit of people and organizations in our community.

The next grant cycle is scheduled to be in spring 2023 with applications available by March 1, due Friday, March 31.  Information regarding future grant cycles will be posted the SCRA website: www.ScottCountyRegionalAuthority.com and shared through local media.

Scott County Regional Authority Awards Over $1.5 Million

bringing total funding since 1991 to $69 Million

The Scott County Regional Authority (SCRA) announced today awards of over $1.5 million for the fall 2013 grant cycle.

Several representatives spoke of the value and impact these awards will have for their organizations:

Scott McConnell, Lead Facilitator, Safer Foundation – $7,315, Youth Empowerment Program Classroom Supplies

Randy Zobrist, Executive Director/CEO, River Bend Transit – $21,500, Public Transit Vehicle for Iowa Quad Cities/Iowa City Route

Teri Johnson, President/Founder, Jason’s Box, Inc. – $35,000, Establishment of Veterans Resource Center

The Authority received a total of 132 requests for funding totaling $3,762,596.

A total of $1,533,110 was awarded to 61 projects benefiting residents of Scott County.

This brings SCRA funding since 1991 to $69,090,281 for the benefit of people and organizations in our community.

The next grant cycle will be in the spring of 2014 with grant applications available March 1 and due April 1.  The grant application will be available on the SCRA website: www.ScottCountyRegionalAuthority.com and at the Bettendorf and Davenport Public Libraries.

Fall 2013 Applications

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Grant applications for the Scott County Regional Authority Fall 2013 grant cycle are now available.

Deadline for submission is October 1 with awards announced in late November.

Organizations may sign up to receive email notification when new applications are available each cycle.

Grant forms must be dated Fall 2013 and are available on our website at https://www.scottcountyregionalauthority.com and at the Bettendorf, Davenport and Scott County Libraries.

All applicants must carefully read and follow directions for submission of grant requests.

Any non-profit organization which possesses a 501(c)(3) status under the IRS Tax Code, government organization or education institution can apply by completing the grant application forms.  Applicants must have a local office, a local corporate board of directors, incorporated in the state of Iowa or chartered by the U.S. Government and serve residents of Scott County.

Mail completed applications to: Scott County Regional Authority, P.O. Box 474, Bettendorf, Iowa 52722 or deliver to the Scott County Regional Authority office located at the Isle Administrative Center, 1800 Isle Parkway, Bettendorf.  All applications must be delivered to the SCRA office by 5:00 p.m. October 1.  Any questions regarding this process please email [email protected] or call (563) 344-2626.
